matali crasset, a creative jack of all trades

matali crasset likes to break new ground so that she can give free rein to her creativity. She analyses everyday objects and rituals in order to transform them into functional design objects. And each one of them becomes a thing of beauty.

concentré de vie - sofa - campeggi

Versatility is at the core of Concentré de vie. This couch is the follow-up to an earlier couch design that matali crasset created for the Italian furniture brand Campeggi. The basis is a box with 5 soft elements that transform the couch into the perfect place for utter relaxation.

Ring vase - glass - Danese Milano

Ring vase, what’s in a name! 2 basic shapes combined into 1: a ring and a vase. The ring keeps the flowers attractively bunched while the transparent vase gives a natural feel. This is a recent design (2015) by matali crasset together with Danese Milano.

With this glass fragrance diffuser Sunic, matali appeals to 2 senses at once: the scent but certainly the look as well! The perfume was created by Dragoco in Paris. The fragrance of bergamot, grapefruit, mandarin orange and jasmine is quickly spread through any space. The glass design also allows the perfume to add a note of colour to the interior.
