Contest Regulations – theo eyewear x Antwerp Art Weekend

Extended version (May 2025)

Article 1 – Organizer

The contest is organized by THEO BV, with registered office at Arsenaalstraat 3, 2000 Antwerp, Belgium, company number BE0432.664.669, hereafter referred to as “theo eyewear”.

Article 2 – Conditions of Participation

2.1 Participation is free and does not require any purchase.

2.2 The contest is open to individuals aged 16 and over. Minors must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.

2.3 Each participant may submit only one entry.

2.4 Employees of theo eyewear, affiliated partners, and jury members are excluded from participation.

Article 3 – Contest Procedure

3.1 Each participant will receive a blank cardboard Bourbon Way frame from theo eyewear via Antwerp Art Weekend.

3.2 The participant personalizes the frame and submits it at Somers Optiek, Eiermarkt 41, 2000 Antwerp, no later than Saturday, June 7, 2025.

3.3 Participants are encouraged to take a selfie with their design (ideally in front of the mirror at Somers Optiek) and post it on Instagram, tagging @theoeyewear and @antwerpart.

3.4 Participants must provide their name and email address along with the physical submission in the store.

Article 4 – Selection and Prizes

4.1 A jury composed of theo eyewear designers will assess the entries based on creativity and originality.

4.2 50 selected winners will receive an exclusive, numbered theo x Antwerp Art Weekend T-shirt (not redeemable for cash or other items).

4.3 Every participant who submits a physical design at Somers Optiek will receive a Bourbon Way pin as a thank you for participating.

4.4 The jury’s decision will be communicated on the contest page: theo.be/antwerpart

4.5 Winners will be notified via email by theo eyewear on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

Article 5 – Liability and Copyright

5.1 Submitted designs become the property of theo eyewear and may be used without additional permission for communication and promotional purposes.

5.2 theo eyewear is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of submitted creations.

5.3 By entering, the participant confirms that their design does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights.

Article 6 – Privacy

6.1 The personal data provided will only be used for this contest.

6.2 All data will be handled confidentially in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will not be shared with third parties.

Article 7 – Acceptance

By participating in the contest, the participant accepts these regulations unconditionally.
